Software Engineering Summer Internship
Program Overview:
The AMP Summer Internship Program offers college students the opportunity to work on meaningful, high-impact projects that directly support our Native Search Marketplace and go-to-market strategy.
Interns collaborate with experienced team members, gain exposure to how a fast-growing ad tech company operates, and develop practical, in-demand skills. The program is designed to help you grow professionally while making a real contribution to the business.
By the end of the summer, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how AMP creates value through innovation in search advertising - and how your work helps drive that impact.
What you’ll do
Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable platforms
Design and implement new features while fixing bugs and improving system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate closely with senior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical design discussions.
Write clean, testable, production-quality code and follow engineering best practices.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and contract tests to ensure system quality and stability.
Contribute to and enhance CI/CD pipelines across data engineering and quality engineering workflows.
Support and improve ETL pipelines and data workflows that power internal and customer-facing systems.
Analyze system metrics, logs, and test results to identify performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and areas for optimization.
Contribute to technical documentation, internal tools, and automation that improve developer efficiency.

Requirements
Majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Familiarity with one or more of the following: Python, Java, Javascript, SQL
Currently attending college in the U.S.
